i had a pet that was ready to be released (had the door icon and everything) but i already had that variant of yellow creecher so i used a suspicious concoction on them and now they are no longer ready to release (door icon disapeared, option isn't on their profile) is this normal/intended?

I think this is okay (it can happen if the new form requires more time to mature than the old one did), but I will double-check to make sure there's nothing weird going on here.
