ummm okay so I used a devious brew on one of my pets and it was in its final stage (the 'water you doing here form'), and when i gave it a devious brew it turned back into its juvenile form. Not sure if this is a bug or not but doesn't really feel like its supposed to happen lol. It happened another time a few days ago but at the time I thought I mixed up the rooms or something

The Normal Egg's initial "splat" stage can progress to one of three forms: the curled cat, the "sinking" form that quickly advances again to the sea serpent you had before, or the yolk with a face that further splits into all the other outcomes. What you're describing is a lateral move rather than a backward one, which is the intended behavior.
