you walk into a cluttered store with no visible floor. it appears to be a well-stocked furniture store. the attendant looks up from a stack of papers and reports, revealing deep purple bags under their eyes, and explains that they have all this inventory but haven't had time to actually set prices because their dissertation is due pretty much yesterday.
