The shopkeeper watches your mouse cursor glide closer with gleaming eyes, crouching excitedly as it comes within reach.
In a blur of blue, the mouse is snatched out of the air and pinned to the ground from the height of the table, breaking with a click sound.
You watch helplessly as your method of interacting with this world is eaten by the purring creecher.
The cat jumps calmly back onto the table, sitting back down and looking at you politely.
