Have questions about creecher biology, the setting that Dopcom takes place in, or what all of those food items actually taste like? This is the place to ask the developer, or speculate if there's no official answer!

Who, or what, creates the furniture items that appear in the General Store? How advanced is society? For instance, both Oil Lamp and Electric Lamp exist, indicating that electricity must have been harnessed at some point (I think this is further supported by the Lightning Element Lump-Style Creecher, whose home environment looks like a town that has a streetlamp).

@rtay Periodically, ghosts show up in the town square. (This of course coincides with real-world Halloween celebrations, but Dopcom years are a different length from real-world ones, so our Halloween doesn't happen at the same time each Dopcom year.) Nobody currently knows where they come from or why they're here, but one thing that is clear is that they are very, very fond of pumpkins. They give out seeds in hopes that people will plant them and return the resulting crop to the Haunted Market. Perhaps the pumpkins are used as one of the ingredients in the Devious Brew...?

@JaneBuzJane Electricity exists, but it's not very well-studied. The electric lamp furniture is a summoned item, meaning that it runs off of lightning magic rather than, say, plugging into a wall or using batteries, and when I drew the streetlamp in that habitat I was thinking of it as being gas-powered. The furniture sold at the general store (the pots and clocks and rugs and such) is mass-produced; I think some of it is made in the city and some of it is imported from outside.

@EpiglottalAxolotl NEAT! Thank you! (They did look like gas streetlamps, they had that ~vibe~ so I was just curious :3c )
