so i think four times now, i've had an egg in a room with an egg timer, and the egg hatched overnight but the timer didn't break. first time it happened was a few months ago or something, the next egg i put in the room hatched overnight and the timer broke as it was supposed to so like i was like "eh, alright." times 2 & 3 were 13? days ago (after the update); i incubated a lump and a blue creecher on the same day, each with an egg timer, and both hatched the next day without the timers breaking. the blue creecher is still growing but i released the lump yesterday and incubated another small egg, and today it has Also hatched without the egg timer (which i just left in the room) breaking. (the newest lump is in my second pet room, "the prismatic workshop of the radiant chain", if that helps any)

Bubble wrap affects the break rate for egg timers, so I don't think this is a bug.
