windGuide: Summoning
The Conjuration Circle in the Town Square is the primary way of obtaining eggs, and is an important source of many other items as well. Essences can be spent in the circle to perform a summoning, which will reward the user with a random assortment of items determined by the essences that are used.
Essence items
All essence items used contribute towards the quantity of items summoned, although elemental components contribute much less than Prima Materia, Gleaming Essence, or higher essences (that is, essences of Sun, Moon, Void, or Heart). This means that the easiest way to receive more items from one summoning is to use more Prima Materia.
Gleaming Essence and various higher essences that are used in summoning will increase the average rarity of items that are summoned. Adding elemental components or higher essences will increase the chances that items received will be aligned with the corresponding aspect.
Other factors affecting summoning
Adding essence that matches the aspect corresponding to the current weather condition will have a proportionally larger effect compared to other aspects. Additionally, random events may occur that mention an "auspicious time to attempt a summoning". When these events occur, until the end of the day, all summonings will be slightly more likely to produce items of one specific aspect, and the average rarity of items produce will increase slightly.
