Gingersnaps Recipe:

* 3/4 Cup of Shortening
* 1 Cup of Sugar
* 1 Egg
* 1/2 Cup of Molassess
* 2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda
* 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
* 1/2 Teaspoon of Cloves
* 1 Teaspoon of Ginger
* 2 Cups of Flour
* Rolling Sugar (Amount not mentioned in my book, assume 1/2 Cup?)

Spoon 1-Inch Balls of Dough into Rolling Sugar before pressing them slightly onto your baking sheet. These will spread out as they cook.

Bake at 375F for 9 to 11 Minutes, depending on your oven.
