hi!! I’m not sure how exactly aspect increases work or what’s causing not to gain void aspect?? I thought it mightve been because they’d already changed to their adult form but I’ve been feeding them pretty much only dark forest cake and smiley salad and the smiley salad causes them to gain heart aspect, but the dark forest cake isnt adding any void!!
(also, they won’t change form again when the growth meter refills, right? or will they? trying to wrap my head around how it works!)

@lavender umm it looks like your pet has a fair amount of void... I think probably it's continuing to gain void, but you can't tell since the meter is only split into 16 parts

Like, if the pet has 120 void out of 200 power before you feed it, and then it has 130/200 void after, in both cases 120/200 and 130/200 will round to 10 parts void out of 16 total. And since the denominator will increase a little bit each time you feed it too, it makes sense it will take a while to add more parts.

also: it says its in its final stage so I don't think it will change form again! when the growth meter fills all the way, it will be ready to be released.

Have I just been unlucky, or are there conditions I'm missing aside from fire aspect?

How do you get money and food? I know you can get food by buying it in the shop, but given I haven't found a way to get money in game, I'm worried about eventually running out. So are there any non-shop ways to get food, or renewable ways to get money?

@Meesh You can get money from selling 'Vibrant Flower' (from gardening, pet drops, and summoning) and 'Shiny Coin' (from summoning with metal essence) to the general store. Those items do not have any other purpose. You can also generally sell your extra gardening harvests (you won't need everything to feed your pets) later on.

Also, to get more food, I'd plant a lot of wheat at first, since wheat can drop extra seeds (you can also buy the wheat/seeds from some players at a cheaper price than the store price when you start out). You can also summon 'Wild Seeds' with leaf essence, which give you the rarer foods (but take longer to grow up). I keep a lot of extra gardens constantly planted with wheat, so I never need to buy seeds from the store.

@Morph I had the same problem raising my fire fairy , I think they need a bit of sun affinity too!
(Epi has confirmed that they need at least one other affinity besides fire , and that the affinity isn't heart or wood )

there's no recipes/food guides at the moment right?
i'm really stuck on how to make new foods..

@sart Lots of people have put some of the recipes that they've found in their user bios or room descriptions, but the main way to find new recipes is to try things and see what works.

Could someone tell me how to do this? I tried just using the embed codes I found on the room page, but the image doesn't appear and just stays as text. (like here: [img]https://dopcom.net/creechers/p/pet/HrvGACWm.png[/img])

@SeraphimRose You need to use the [pet=id] BBCode; it's the first one in the list of embed codes. That's the code for embedding pet images locally on Dopcom, since Dopcom doesn't support the [img] BBCode tag.
