@Dandelion Charms aren't RNG-based. Each charm gives a set amount of affinity to the corresponding aspect every day; this stacks, so a pet with two lightning charms equipped would gain lightning affinity twice as fast as a pet with only one.

If you're asking about what forms a pet is going to grow into: yes, generally having a higher affinity to some aspect will increase the chance that the pet will grow into a form corresponding to that aspect.

Ok thank you! I’ll be giving my pets multiple aspect charms then.

is the green dragon "looking sharp!" form a precursor to the "FLAP FLAP FLAP" form?

@wit Can confirm, that form will grow up into the Big Flapper!

Where does the Silver Lock charm come from? Is it summonable? There are none on shop search and it isn’t on the crafting list.

@enforcer It's a rarer drop you can get from the Voice in the fog event!

Could I make a thread like click the creecher above you on this forum?

@Foxfire Moderation policy questions like that are better in Miscellaneous Q&A, but yes, that would be a fine thread to create in the Dopcom Discussion forum (not the Q&A forum).

I vaguely remember there being a food that lowers affinity to Wood. What is it?

@enforcer

I think the only item that reduces wood affinity specificially is the Withered Leaf.

If you want a food, you might be thinking of these:
Creepy Pumpkin lowers a specific aspect, but that's heart , and not wood .
Flaming Hot Chilli lowers wood , but it also lowers 10 more aspects.

I've been trying to get a metal blue creecher, but can't. In both cases, the creecher had no fluff/fuzz and became I think a void creecher instead. I've noticed some blue creechers look fuzzier in their early stage than others. Do some blue eggs just hatch fuzzier kitten creechers? Do they need to have that fuzzy look to become metal?

@blueamber You're right, the metal-aligned blue creecher can only grow from the fuzzy baby variant. (It's random chance wether or not that form hatches from the egg)

@Hypercube thanks!

has anyone figured out if there's an optimal summoning method for getting eggs? they tend to be so few and far between and i just wanna have a turtle </3
(i haven't figured out the summoning system very well myself yet so i don't even know if something like that is possible LOL)

@quilt The best resource for summoning info right now is Wildy's Dopcom Summoning Survey!

(The TLDR is: Having more empty pet rooms while you summon increases your egg chances, and concentrating on using just stone essence will make specificially turtle eggs more common. Summoning without any stone essence makes getting a turtle egg from that summon impossible!)

It can be pretty frustrating to get eggs consistently as a newer player; I think the best bet as a new player is to pick up some free small eggs from someone selling them in their shop and just quickly get those to maturity by feeding them all bread (and giving them stone charms), then sending them off when they've matured (this usually gives me about 15 prima/20 elemental essence in 5-6 days; if you apply it across all of your empty rooms, that should multiply). Then I usually wait for matching weather to what I want to summon, and summon using 50 prima/100 gleaming/50-100 elemental essence. There's no matching weather for stone, so I'd pick a clear or foggy day and hope to RNG the stone boosting random event. From my limited experience (I haven't recorded my summons as systematically), the spiky/sneaky/chilly eggs are rarer within their associated element than the colored eggs are, so using 50-100 elemental essence helps me get them more consistently. I'm able to get the colored eggs more easily with less essence.
