Gardens are one of the types of rooms that users can build, in addition to pet rooms and storerooms. The purpose of gardens is to grow crops; some crops can be fed directly to pets, but most crops are ingredients that must be cooked first.

To grow crops in a garden, it is first necessary to plant seeds. Most seeds can be purchased at the general store, although some more exotic seeds must be found in other ways. Every garden can hold up to six seeds at a time. Different seeds take differing amounts of time to grow, and produce different quantities of crops when fully grown. Both growth time and crop yield can be affected by external factors such as items placed in the room and weather.
